Our Mission: Partner with the UGA community to promote a thriving learning environment through exceptional Dining Services.
At Dining Services, our mission is to create experiences that generate warmth, belonging,
and success through exceptional food and service. We recognize that the University
of Georgia is your home away from home, and we take great pride in nourishing, supporting,
and strengthening the Bulldog community while building Georgia traditions. As part
of this commitment, we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to serve you during your
time on campus.
Our primary goal is to support your learning environment by providing exceptional
customer service, ensuring that you receive the highest quality food and service to
help you excel in your academic pursuits and extracurricular activities. We understand
the importance of your well-being and the role that nutrition and dining experiences
play in your overall success. Our menus are designed to be diverse, offering you
a wide variety of service options and styles to suit your preferences and dietary
needs.
It's essential to note that Dining Services is operated by Auxiliary Services of the University of Georgia. We are a self-supporting division, receiving no funding from University, State,
or Federal sources. This self-sufficiency allows us to maintain our dedication to
quality and innovation. All our meal plan options are voluntary for students because we take great pride in both our cuisine and our
service. Operating much like a commercial restaurant, we are committed to covering
all expenses, including the cost of food, payroll, and operating expenditures, with
revenue generated from our food service operations on campus.
We are immensely proud to be nationally recognized as a leader in the industry, thanks
to awards such as the Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards for Excellence, the National Restaurant
Association Great Menu Design Award, the Food Management Industry Leadership Award,
and the prestigious Ivy Award for Excellence. Furthermore, our culinary team has consistently
earned accolades from the National Association of College & University Food Services
(NACUFS) National and Regional Culinary Challenges, as well as the Premier Culinary
Creations Contest.
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we are dedicated to serving
food in a courteous and friendly manner, in pleasant surroundings. While on campus,
we invite you to dine with us and get to know our staff. We are confident that you
