Eating Smart Course
The Eating Smart Class is a 4-week nutrition course tailored to the needs of you, the college student. Taught by a Dining Services' Registered Dietitian and one of the Dining Commons Chefs, this program is FREE to meal plan participants. Join us in a convenient, relaxed setting where you will learn practical cooking skills, healthy meal ideas, and information for developing healthy eating habits and achieving your goals.
Classes are held each Fall and Spring semesters. Space is limited: Classes will be filled on a first come-first served basis.
Fall 2023 classes were held each Tuesday, October 24-November 14, at the Village Summit with Chef Tim Neal. Spring 2024 classes were held on Wednesdays, March 20-April 10, from 4-5 pm at Oglethorpe Dining Commons with Chef Robert Clark.
Fall 2024 classes will be held on Wednesdays from 4 - 5 pm on September 11, 18, and 25 at the Village Summit Dining Commons with Chef India Barfield.

Registration opens early each semester. Look for an email from UGA Dining Services or visit the Bolton Administration Office for registration information.
